Annika received a B.S. in Zoology with minors in mathematics and applied ecology from NC State University in 2021, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in her other passion, Fisheries Biology. She loves reptiles (especially lizards), and has been keeping and raising leopard geckos for 14 years, including albino, hypo, and wild-type morphs. In her spare time, she is active on leopard gecko forums, the reptile side of iNaturalist, and is frequently found outdoors in search of native lizards.
Experience
Annika bought her first leopard gecko in 2009 and instantly fell in love with the species. She aspires to give her lizards the best care and works closely with exotic veterinarians and other hobbyists to stay up-to-date on current husbandry. She has been writing for More Reptiles since 2021.
Education
Annika graduated from North Carolina State University in 2021 with a B.S. in Zoology. She is now a graduate student at Iowa State University, studying Fisheries Biology and Ecology.
